Therapy For Teens and Adults

Hi! - I’m Viv

I’m a qualified counsellor with a practice that blends traditional counselling with coaching-informed approaches. I believe meaningful change comes from understanding where you’ve been, being present with what’s real now, and taking thoughtful steps toward the future.

I focus on supporting people who are seeking clarity, balance, and direction. This often includes those experiencing mental health concerns such as anxiety, stress, or low mood; those navigating transitions and identity questions; or those facing specific challenges that life has put in their path.

Some of my main interests include:

Mental health and wellbeing (anxiety, overwhelm, depression, low self-esteem)

Eating disorders, body image and self-confidence

Addiction

School, University & Work pressures

Relationship and Friendship Struggles

Family Dynamics and Identity Questions

Trauma-informed support and mind–body approaches

The “big picture” questions about life, meaning, and who we want to be

In-person & Online Options

I currently offer in-person indoor counselling sessions at Uniquely You Psychology Clinic and outdoor sessions in agreed upon locations for the known benefits of nature on mental health.

For greater flexibility and accessibility, I also provide online sessions. This allows clients to access support from the comfort of their own space, regardless of location. I’m happy to discuss availability and work together to find a time that suits your schedule.

Pricing

I offer counselling sessions at a rate of $100 per 50-minute session.

Reduced rates may be available in certain circumstances, at my discretion.

A black and white photo of a man smiling and holding a young girl, standing against a brick wall. The girl is smiling, wearing a dark top, with a necklace, and sitting on the man's lap.

“Again, with feeling” was a phrase I grew up hearing from my dad—usually said with a smirk and a touch of sarcasm, but always with heart. He’d say it in moments of failure, when I’d fallen short or felt hurt. It was his way of urging me to get back on the horse, and this time with more gusto and enthusiasm than the last.

It’s a line that lingered, lighthearted, but oddly profound. In the therapy room, we laugh, we unravel, we rethink—and then we try again, especially when life takes swings at us as she often does.
